The SpectraMax controller works only with the California LightWorks SpectraMax lights. It can control an unlimited number of lights from a single controller. It allows automated programming for spectrum control, 24-hour timer, and day/week/month calendar. Now it is possible to program an entire grow cycle automatically – varying the spectrum, the length of the day, transitions from veg to bloom, final finishing modes, sunrise/sunset – all in a low cost easy to program digital controller.

The SpectraMax Controller features programmable 0% to 99% spectrum control over two spectrum ranges – White and Red. You can use the controller in manual mode only to adjust the light spectrum or use the digital clock and calendar to run custom light recipes over a day, week, month or entire season. Programs can be saved for specific crops or strains. You can also use the view mode to work in natural white light and then switch back to high power reds and blues for accelerated growth.

Awesome!

I have 2 Spectrum max on each side of a Light Rail 5 with a Kind X2 overhead and my plants are growing much faster with the addition of the 2 Spectrum LEDs at only 15% power in the veg cycle! I can’t wait to see how they do when they start budding in about a week!

Glad I got it!

With the sale and a bonus for being fully retired, I decided to treat myself. My neighbor has 3 of your solarstorm lights. I almost bought one but why not get the newest light from you wonderful people.You tube was helpful but trying it out while watching even better. With the whole veg cycle programmed, it's even easier. It also allows you to adjust the spectrum. Love the sunset/sunrise feature. Built in clock with everything in one wall mounted controller. Doing 17 red/49 white for vege. Love this new set-up! Thank you.

Great coverage built nicely. Right now I’m doing a side by side with this lamp and two 550’s side by side. Only complaint with this is I wish they would do a limited run of a 3 channel utilizing blue diodes. Other than that it’s a very sleek and powerful lamp. Just needs blues 😉

SpectraMax Controller (Absolutely recommend)

I’m an experienced grower. Over the years, for LED lighting, I’ve tried three other high end companies, for these other cases quality was good however results were okay/good. For the past recent years I’ve been using three different California Lightworks SOLARXTREME models. From my experience, the plant response to the SOLARXTREME models is incomparable. Plants sing and glow when lights are on. It’s really something special. I’ve always been super happy with the SOLARXTREME models however I’ve been a little bummed, for experimental purposes, this series is without built-in control for timing, spectrum adjustment and dimming. I recently purchased two SolarSystem models with the external controller. Wow! It’s exceeded expectations. Plants continue to glow and sing plus I have all the controls I need. No exaggeration here. I absolutely recommend the SolarSytem series and the controller and the SOLARXTREME series. One of the SOLARXTREME models I purchased had an electrically broken fan on its arrival. Customer service / tech support over the phone was perfect for handling the replacement. Also made in the USA. I’ll never buy from another company. Quality is top notch. The controller is well designed as well.
